Springfield, MO (July 25, 2013) – Springfield Music – Springfield’s second-oldest music store located south of Battlefield on Fremont – is honored as one of the “Top 100 Music Stores for 2013” in the world by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM).

The 2013 NAMM Top 100 Awards were voted on by a panel of musicians and the NAMM executive board. The award showcases the top music stores based on excellence in several categories including store aesthetics, lessons programs, product offering as well as service and knowledgeable staff.
Springfield Music is the only music store in Southwest Missouri and one of only two Missouri music stores to make the list. With over 9,000 music stores in the United States, being selected as a Top 100 store is a huge achievement.
Springfield Music is consistently stocked with top-of-the-line instruments and accessories and features an 8,500 square-foot showroom, including a state-of-the-art performance area. The recently constructed performance area seats up to 100 people for concerts, recitals, clinics and camps.
